The Districts of Glace
Tower
The royal seat, governmental offices, and center of the city.
Dayport
Walled district bordering the Tower district, filled with high end residences and businesses, and little industry.
Cinderfall
Middle class district on the other side of the river from Dayport, significantly less desirable and controlled access from the Watch Keep over Glace Bridge.
Stonemarket
Old district which has seen better times. Borders the Tower district but is filling with industry and all that goes with it.
Foundry
Heavy industrial district filled with factories, warehouses, and tenements.
Blacksteel
A well to do but not entirely desirable district, home to varied merchants and businesses.
Six Points
A very rough district of lower class workers, but still better than the slums.
Magpie Wharf
The chief commercial port district in Glace, not a place one wants to be after sundown.
Ravenswood
A polite district which in resides the Cathedral Church of Glace, and the Royal Colleges of Glace
Abbythe Garden
A residential district which used to be rolling hills but whose natural beauty has since been mostly swallowed up by the city, save for the myriad of estates which keep their pastoral nature behind gates and walls, inaccessible to the general public.
Genovan Cottage
Middle class residential district whose claim to fame was that at one point in the far past a Genovan merchant lived here, and owned an inn. Otherwise boring as one might expect.
Knife Hill
Highly desirable residential district wherein lies the palace of the Crown Princess, and many diplomatic residences.
Symons
Industrial district neighboring the port, notable for the munitions depot within which fuels the Legion’s military might.
Breedsgate
Lower middle class residential neighborhood bordering Symons and Magpie Wharf.
Costenhithe
A notorious red light district in the rougher part of town.
Larchford
A sleepy residential neighborhood with little to distinguish itself other than that it is more desirable than the slums.
Three Queens
A wealthy district upriver featuring three royal palaces built by three different queens, as well as the royal botanical garden. Quaint villages and neighborhoods surround.
Hallamsham
The far north expansion of the city before it gives way to farmland, filled with small villages which are gradually growing into one another.
Naval Yards
The Parabresian Fleet is harbored here, as well as the accompanying Naval facilities and academies. It is a sharp contrast in class when compared to Magpie Wharf on the other side of the harbor.
Fort Angove
The major facility which houses the Parabresian Legion, large enough to comprise a district in itself.
Slums
Dens of human misery made manifest.
