Bollo

Bollo is a happy-go-lucky hin. There's not a soul in Whitebridge who doesn't like Bollo, but a few think he's a bit simple-minded. Bollo spends most nights at the Pig 'n Whistle and was considered the town drunk. That changed during the flood of '71. When the Green River ran its banks and washed out a large section of Whitebridge.
Bollo and his "apprentice" Reed Goodbarrel rescued many hin washed out of their homes. Leaping to and from wreckage being swept away by the Green, Bollo and Reed saved many villagers that day.
Reed left the Downs soon after, with a traveling carnie he had befriended. Bollo still spends most of his nights at the Pig. During the day, he has half a dozen "pupils" learning his crazy style of fighting without weapons and harnessing a body's "inner ki".
The crazy thing is, "Master" Bollo seems like he's better when he's drunk. Depending on the day, he calls himself a "Hin Fist" or a "Drunken Master", but swears he can teach various styles of the "martial arts".
