The Dark, The Darkmage Moervan (a.k.a. Morton)

Moervan is a Chondathan wizard with dark brown hair and hazel-green eyes. At 5' 7", he is shorter than many of the men in Darmshall, and also significantly heavier for his height at 183 lbs.
If Moervan hears news of treasures brought out of Vaasa by adventurers, he dispatches one of his assistants with a note inviting the adventurers to dinner at the wizard's tower. He lavishes his guests with excellent food and at the end of the meal, may offer to buy whatever item or object the explorers found.
At other times, Moervan uses a similar method to commission expeditions to specific areas of Vaasa. Such commissions are seen as easy money, as the mage usually asks only for samples of soil, plants, and other mundane features from Vaasa.

Personal history

Moervan started his career as apprentice of Garath Mistmaster and accompanied Emmanuel Darm back to Darmshall after the adventure that Mistmaster brought Darm along on. Since then, he has been an integral; part of Darmshall's defenses.
Moervan seems to have no love for his previous master, who was known to call him Morton.
