Windsor Greenshade

Windsor Greenshade has been mayor since the previous mayor was killed in a bandit raid. Windsor led the town's defenses against the bandits and is credited with leading several assaults on the bandit lairs.
As the "face" of the Downs, Greenshade meets personally with both Duke Helmont of Carmathan and Baroness Sylvia of Ostel. He shows nothing but deference to the two leaders, but neither trust the elder. The few times either ruler has tried to impose their will on the Downs, work slowdowns and missing shipments saw their winter stores dwindle to dangerous levels before they eased off the Downs.
Mayor Greenshade is considering retirement, but wants to make sure that he has an able successor to mold and train. He is noticeable tired of his duties and looks wistfully west, to his family burrow deep within the Downs and far away from Whitebridge.
