General Summary
Moving like leaves over the snow we advance quickly to the watchtower and take everything of value from within it while we observe the area around us. Up the slope we see a temple or shrine but there are torches around it and a visible patrol heading up the path towards there so we decide against it.
We see the slave pens and decide the slaves are safer in the pens then out in the wilds.
Long rows of small wooden shacks huddle together in thei fenced-in yard. They are unpainted, Crude structures, unfit for long-term humanoid survival in the cold. A few communial fire pits are scattered among the sheds. The Fallen snow is mixed with dirt and frozen mud, trampled down by the milling of countless feet, both large and small. It appears there are only a pair of Frost Giant soldiers keeping watch at this point, one of which we can see carries a signal horn. The guards are occupied bowling with boulders at the far end of the pen.
We See the (k)Longhouse and decide to move there first.
A Large wooden structure with a peaked roof and two sets of massive barn doors set at either end sits in the shadow of a nearby watchtower. A pair of gigantic ram's horns are mounted above the eastern doors while a gigantic pair of crossed lances are set above the western doors.
Adler flies up to the window to get a peak inside and signals us with handsigns what he finds. I prepare to breach the western doors. the others taking cover either behind me or in the air above so they can see inside. On the count i kick the doors open and unload at the first of the Svarthirm's, the rest follow suit. Adler's thorny entanglement fills up the inside of the stables. the rest of us concentrate on the nearest. within thirty seconds we have manage to drop both of the strange Hybrid Frostgiant+Centaur Creatures. As we are leaving we notice that the patrol that was up by the Shrine of Thremyr is heading back towards the watchtower to check in. We decide to turn the tables and ambush them. Setting up upon the Watchtower A1 we take aim and unload when they get within range. Between a combination of Arrow Volleys, Silenced Rifle shots and magical spells like wall of blindness and spiritual ally with the inspiration of Dredoc we are able to slay both of the frost giant patrolers. Alas one of them was able to sound his signal horn. For whatever reason the two giants in the slave pens did not join the frey even though they were the closest to us by far. All around the camp at every watch tower signal rockets are launched the air is lit up like daytime, torches are lit as the giant forces begin to muster their troops to march upon the threat up near their human food source. A1 we ambush a patrol.
