16.3.4.2 Into the Shrine of Fandarra and back to the Forge of Minderhal

We spent some time preparing to head inside and talking about magical powers and various abilities we had at our beck and call now..
Inside we fought 4 ogre recruits. 1 slag giant sorceress, 3 benoian clay statues containing worm swarms.. ..it was gross, everything exploded in bursts of puss and worm covered gore, nurgles rot infected two of us, but thankfully daemon was able to remove it.

we found five giant bags but did not poke thru them as of yet. simply tossed them into the cart that Dredok claimed as his own.


We fought the ogres and giant slaying them, to discover in mid combat that the clay statues were.. sentient at least they were moving and trying to slam the living creatures nearest to them. but they could not cross the muddy water.   we destroyed the statues to find they had swams of oozes inside of them. more ick.   Searching through the place we found..   4 Skrag Troll skulls, 1 Jar of restorative ointment (6 doses still viable), 1 large jade statue of a crescent moon (300g), 1 set of Crude looking ancient giant Sculpting Tools (+3 Bonus), 1 set of crude looking ancient giant Painting Tools (+3 Bonus), 1 Jar of Ancient Marvelous Pigments (9 Doses still viable), 2 5# blocks of dryed ancient paint (1 yellow, 1 green), 2 Bricks of Blackfire Clay (10 blocks each brick), 7 Bricks of Sacred Clay (will take 5 to line the Forge, 2 will remain), 1 Ancient Clay Tablet (acts as scroll of transmute rock to mud), 4 Lg Greatclubs, 4 sets of Hide armor (lg), 13 Javelins (lg), 1 +1Warhammer (lg), 1 set of +2 Leather armor (lg), 1 Amulet of Natural Armor +2, 18 Large Thessalonian Silver Coins (worth 50g to a collector), 1 key to the cart,   We got the 4th ancient relic we need to relight the forge. We found the key to Dredoc's cage cart.   We clensed the Shrine of Fandarra as requested by the stone giant druid to the north west.    We learned the fountain sends forth sacred mud from a point in the nonspace where the Plains of Water and Earth co-mingle with the blessing of the giant goddess Fandarro to create in effect holy mud, simular to holy water in its effects. so harmful to the worms that they could not enter the waters.   Daemon has learned to teleport others. Instead of treking through the swamp for two days, then hiking uphill for 3 days to reach the Forge athe summit; we have decided to trust in his magical powers and accuracy in teleporting all of us and our belongings into the secret chamber known as Forgeheart.   Those of us capable are taking turns in creating Sylvan Hideaways within the stone walls to give us a safe place to muster and gather our forces without alerting the giants above in the Forge itself. (our hideaways are covered up by tapestries so concealed even before the magics effects.  It takes two days to fully move our squad of heroes and our mounts into place.  So by sunrise on the 11th we are ready to being the reclamation of the forge)
