Merris Sandovar

Merris Sandovar is the Chief Scout for the Diamond Lake garrison, and also a member of the Bronzewood Lodge. While he doesn't much care for Diamond Lake or its inhabitants, he has a deep respect for Tolliver Trask, who is in charge of the garrison. Some say Trask rescued him from a bandit ambush years ago, so he feels indebted to the commander.
Sandovar is a staunch believer of the Old Faith, and prefers to be out "in the field" as much as possible. He is uncomfortable being the go-between of Nogwier and Lanod Neff, but realizes that the less the two meet face-to-face, the better for both.
Merris refuses any assignment that goes against his own personal code of ethics, and he's known to complain about everything when around others.
