Generic Hammer Empire Warwolf

The 'Warwolves' as they are called, are volunteers from among the rank and file of Hammer Empire troopers into Project Paradox. Troopers often see this as a way to 'earn their citizenship' in Hammer Empire's Roman Imperial-like culture.   These volunteers undergo a process established by the Hammer Empire scientist, Dr. Stirge, which causes the creation of a specific shape altering meta power. The genetic source of which has long been rumored to be associated with a mercenary named Puma.   When troopers who 'graduate' from the project undergo massive trauma that would incapacitate them, they instantly are transformed into a half-human, half-black panther hybrid. In this hybrid form, they gain enhanced reflexes and sensory abilities beyond their human half. These enhanced troopers can also assume this form if they have six seconds to concentrate to activate their meta power.   The nickname, while misleading since they transform into the scientific version of a mythical 'were panther', was taken from a historical reference. The trooper's namesake was actually the "War Wolf" or the Ludgar, the largest trebuchet ever created.   A small team of Warwolves is usually a part of a typical Hammer Empire squad.
When in human form, their statblock is no different than the Generic Hammer Empire Trooper except with the Drawback: Alter Ego (Controllable)

  • Claws are the APs of the Warwolf's teeth as well as actual claws.

  • Ultra Vision is only against low-light environments. It is of no use in total darkness or to be able to see invisible targets.
