Kes Markings

The Mark of Kes

Kes markings originated among a small cult called the Children of Ash. This cult was obsessed with turning others into creatures of fire. One of the cult's wizards, Kes, came up with a way to mark the ranks within the cult with an insignia that changed to reflect their current status. The Children of Ash were later pulled through a portal to the realm of fire in an attempt to turn themselves into creatures of fire. The process that Kes used was later taken for other organizations as a way of marking their own members and their ranks.

• The Haebal (Usually a sword with different details added for each rank and achievement)
• Dyme College (optional if you are a student)
• The River Coast Traders Union
• Bazut (will often mark their more accomplished students)
