The Eternal Spark is revered throughout the world for being the bringer and preserver of light. Its influence has become dramatically intertwined with societies all across the Continent of Embera through the Congregation of the Eternal Spark to promotes its teachings and values. But at the center of it all is the symbol that marks all faithful followers of the the Spark, an interwoven star found on every temple, shrine, and emblem to worship freely.

History

Mark of The First Light

Since the time of the creation of the world in the Radiant Dawn, the Eternal Spark has been worshipped by the inhabitants of the world since time immemorial. Though not many truly know where the Spark went, many believe its light is connected to everything that creates it, from the stars to fire; the spark is with them all to light the way for all who need it. From this, the first worshipers of the Spark would craft emblems of the interwoven star to be worn around their necks to ensure that the Spark would always be close to their hearts. An easily crafted design to recognize the symbolism behind it would forever be connected with the power of the light that created the world from the dark void and the unity it made with the world through said light. Creating a sense of comfort and purity to remind all that no matter how dark things may become, the light will always be with them in the worst of situations to guide them from it.
