Guiding Light

One of many relics from the Dawn Age that have been found fully intact since it was unearthed from one of the many ruins that remain of the Scions of the Dawn. While thousands of years old, the sphere remains intact and lacks any real damage like most other relics from the time. It has a distinguished glow and a feeling of warmth to all who touch it with no harm to those who hold it. Its main purpose as to its design has been speculated just to be a ward of protection or a light source being solely powered by adsorbing Radiance around itself. This allows it to concentrate on a more intense light that can be pointed in a single or all directions. This is highly useful when dealing with the likes of Gloomspawn, Shaded or Gloomcraft as its light can quickly weaken or destroy them should it stay on them for too long. However, this power is limited and can only be used for a certain amount of time before it is drained of power, and it needs to recharge near a source of radiation to function once more. Only a small amount of these relics have been found in various ruins across the continent and are either being studied or used in the field for their usefulness in dangerous situations.

Significance

Scion Relic: Built by the long-extinct Scions of the Dawn, this relic is considered a marvel of engineering and skill that most would be unable to achieve. Its very existence alone is to be one of reverence and wonder, making them highly coveted by those that seek them.
