Stargazer Robes

It is well known that Stargazers have dedicated their love to the study of the stars of the Starry Veil for their whole lives, learning all they know in their lifetime. In doing this, they are given their robes to prove they are a member of their Astralium. Yet they do not simply wear fine robes, for they have embued them to mimic the stars themselves so all know their dedication to them. Each light represents a star they have studied and learned from to honor it, be recognized by their peers as experts, and pass down their knowledge to those who seek it when needed.

History

Dedication To The Star

When the Astraliums became known to the world and one another, a great gathering of these isolated communities commenced sharing their knowledge of everything about the veil. During this meeting, a proposal to strengthen cooperation came to pass, and the Astral League was founded. This also resulted in the creation of their robes to signify their status as Stargazers as they dawned the blue robes and marked themselves with stars to represent their dedication to them. From that day forth, all who dedicated themselves to the stars would become a part of them on the clothes they wore on their backs. For their duty was not of the world but beyond it to learn all that they could of its wonders.

In time, these robes would be recognized by many due to how easily they stood out, and they often looked away at the beauty of the robes by these monks who studied the veil. It also added a flavor of mystery to them as no one exactly knew why they wore such robes when they often openly state they would give their knowledge to them, making some wondering if they were hiding something from them. Most would never know as the only time they would ever see them was when the Stargazers left their mountain dwelling and descended to the lands below to tell those in power important messages that they received from the stars. Yet most hoped that it was good news as the stars can often speak of coming dangers in an attempt to warn the world and prepare. But nevertheless to bear witness to a group of them wearing these spectacular robes was a sight to see for anyone.

Significance

Only those that live with the Astraliums and earn them through the understanding of the Starry Veil have the right to wear them as Stargazer. With each shine embeed into it honoring the stars tha they study and understanding to best of their knowledge.

When one enters the service of an Astralium and receives their robes, they are pure blue to represent the night sky, but no stars are embedded in them, as one must earn the right to have them. Thus begins the journey of discovery for all who wish to learn as they study each star; it is only when they truly understand a star they may wear it upon their robes. For each star they place on it, the Stargazer will accumulate knowledge and the story of each star they study so that they may truly understand their place in the veil. Many of them are often embedded with Radiance to allow them to shine like the star themselves but is only done for the revered during ceremonial practices.
