If Balasar is know for anything it would have his frantic nature, the reason for this nature is he always takes on way too much work while he always gets it all done he works through the night frantically getting everything completed and on time. Despite what many would think somehow this rushing and franticness doesn't seem to affect the quality of his work never failing to meet guild standers. Many honestly and openly believe that he could reach the rank of runesmith if he would slow down and focus but despite everyone's advise and pleas he refuses to change. It was this very attitude and drive that made him known as one of the hardest workers in Durin's Hammer as he practically lives there. With Balasar being so deep in work at all times his conversations are normally blunt and brash as he continues whatever he was doing without missing a beat.
