Garrick comes from a once grand magic family the Ollivanders, horrifyingly when Garrick was just a young teen most of his family would succumb to the same sickness it is rumored to have been so horrendous many to this day whisper if it was truly a curse. After this young Garrick would be raised by nannies having them do most things in his day-to-day life while he threw himself fully into crafting. The Ollivander family had long been associated with the profession of focuscrafting knowing this Garrick would focus all his time mastering all forms of wandcraft and even creating some himself. Many believe this is truly fitting seeing as his family name means 'he who owns the olive wand. Many would say his crafting is an obsession causing him to ignore most other aspects of his life, at least this was true until he decided to bring his family name back the right way in his forties he took over control of Ollivander’s Focus Shop bringing it to the forefront of focuscrafting once again. Garrick would always say that taking back over the shop was the best thing he ever did it was thanks to the shop he met some of his best friends and even his apprentices like Istrum Ollivander and Zerrissa. To the dismay of many Garrick Ollivander was last seen on the day of the first burst and has been missing with no further clues ever since.
