Session 10: Death of the Gulthias Tree

General Summary

Goblins and blights destroyed. Belak, Sharwyn Hucrele, and Sir Bradford discovered under the Gulthias tree. He explains that the Cult of Dragon built the citadel and centuries ago the vampire lord Gulthias was staked here. From his corpse grew the Gulthias tree which provided the magical fruit twice a year. Belak intended to extend a twisted blight filled nature out and through settlements, reclaiming the land with his children of the tree, born from its fruit. The goblins sell the fruit for Belak and the villagers that buy the fruit plant the seeds that makes the twig blights. The gulthias tree had converted the last party into its thralls and the adventuring party soundly defeated them, and the tree that came to life, though Dameila was struck down by a mortally wounding blow. After several minutes of death Dameila came back to life and claimed she had met with the elven god of the hunt Solonor. Overwhelmed with joy the party claimed the fruit and loot and made their way back to Oakhurst.
