Session 4: Kobolds, Goblins, and Dragons Oh My

General Summary

As the party delved deeper into the citadel they examined the Dragon Door they discovered. Rowan was unable to pick the lock and a giant rat bit Hadden. Upon opening a iron keg found in the next room the adventurers defeated an Ice and Steam Mephit. Upon investigation of the bottom of the keg they found 50 gp of malachite. In the the next room they found Meepo a kobold who was recently beaten and the imprisoned dragon they had stolen by goblins. The group agreed to help find this dragon named Calcryx. Meepo brought them to meet the queen of the kobold lair Yusdrayl, where then an agreement was made to take Meepo along to recover the dragon from the goblins. After a long rest in the Kobold Larder the group left to explore the goblin lair deeper in the citadel.

The group found a dragon Fountain and Dameila recited a phrase writen in runes, "Let there be fire" causing a potion of fire breath to collect in the basin. Rowan tries to unlock a skeleton dragon door that reads "Rebuke the dead, open the way" and is cut by a scythe trap in the ceiling. She then notices four sets of humanoid tracks leading down the hall and only three returning. The party follows the three tracks through a side door and find two goblins at the end of a hall of caltrops. The goblins shoot arrows at the party while hurling insults as Thoril and Dameila pressed on through the hall to the makeshift wall.The smaller of the crew run their way through the caltrops and to the goblins. Rowan unleashes a fire breath melting the first goblin. Hadden then follows suit roasting the second goblin to ashes. As the party collected themselves at the end of the hallway any goblin ears were unrecoverable. Meepo tails along, "Nasty beastyss these gobbysss".
