Talica
Talica is a vast, T-shaped continent that, while majorly fertile and alive, is struggling against rapid changes in every corner. The empire that controls it has growing enemies within, while a child sits on the throne. The technologically superior goblin civilization plots to colonize it through sheer firepower as soon as an allegiance is no longer profitable. Magic schools slowly take their toll on the land, provoking calamities and spawning monstrosities.
The capital city of Fortressia struggles to watch over all of the Emperor's citizens. After a failed orcish revolution, the city guards are now forced to take extra care as the green-skinned race is once more brought in to mingle with the remaining ones.
To the East, the desert citadel of Tumbaris constantly strives not to succumb to its many slave rebellions, lacking the support from any of its allies, who have already banned the practice.
To the far, barren North, the Mokke must survive without much contact with other peoples, forced to pay human tributes to giants every few months.
The western lands have been majorly tainted by magic. Few crops grow there, and whichever creatures a hunter or fisherman might find are more inclined to eat them than to be eaten.
The Emberhand dynasty has reached its youngest heir, a 10-year-old boy by the name of Verusius II, but his claim is not uncontested. With two ambitious cousins in exile and enemies in his court, it is up to the boy to oversee Talica in this state, at least officially.
