Ancient Tiorathan

Summary

The Tiorathans of the second age although physically imposing are considerably diminished in stature from their superhuman progenitors. Considered to be the transitory form between Astrals and Humans and directly descended from the Astrals made mortal, the Ancient Tiorathans are greater in both build and height than modern Tiorathans with a greater affinity for magic.
The Ancient Tiorathans once maintained an empire that stretched across all of west Tor'Saarn and threatened to conquer the entirety of east Tor'Saarn, requiring the combined might of the east to meerly force them into a stalemate.

Physical Description

Although physically simiar to later Tiorathans the Ancient Tiorathans could reach far greater sizes, with the standard population capable of reaching just shy of 2.5 metres, and some huge examples (often those who have achieved the title berserker) passing 3 metres in height. Their body maintained muscle mass easily, and as long as they were not starved their muscle mass would not naturally deteriorate. Their large size combined with their innate muscularity granted them immense strength, however the srength they possesed was often greater than even their large size would usually allow due to their potent Astral blood. The ancient Tiorathans were a force unmatched by any other mortal, and in many cases were able to overpower todays Apex warriors, the Grolsaan.

Psychological Description

Ancient Tiorathans were masters of both instinctual cunning and refined intellect, prone to long periods of introversion as they examined the world around them.

Advanced Physiology

Skeletal and Muscular Structures Ancient Tiorathans had large bones that were notably denser than their second age counterparts, allowing them to survive physical stresses far greater than other humans, even when adjustments have been made for the discrepancy in size.
