The J'a-goroan of the east are the primary ethnic group of the The one Felsaed ascendancy. They typically have the brightest coats with dirty orange-yellow fur being the norm. Since the weather of Felsaed is warmest in the east the J'a-goroan of the region have finer coats, and the low emphasis on conflict within this region has lead to lighter frames.

Physical Description

The Ja'goroan of East Felsaed are the most slender of their kind and have finer coats of fur than the rest of the Ja'goroan race, with paler browns and even yellows representing the bulk of their coloration.

The Ja'goroan of East Felsaed are calmer than their cousins, and dedicate much of their time to religious study.

The Eastern government in Felsaed is known as the One Felsaed ascendancy, and fashions itself as the true ruling power of Felsaed. It is a religious hierarchy and closely follows the tenants of Mayreign. They hold the art of invention as a holy act. The states priests to Mayreign are the nations greatest inventors and it is their duty to gather and share knowledge on these arts amongst the masses of their nation, as well as to govern the ascendancy. The nations most holy site is the mountain temple in the north-east of the nation. The temple sits under the shadow of the Steel Tree of Mayreign, the plant that sired the mystical Steel trees found only at the mountains base. These trees drop bark that when used as fuel for a specially designed smelter operated through ritual is capable of creating 'Steelsoul' materials, a process which is known only to the high-priests of Mayreign. This 'Steelsoul' essence can be woven into any material, making it not only notably tougher but also greatly responsive to enchantment, and the strongest enchantments are woven into Steelsoul items.

History

The East Felsaedan are generally disliked by the rest of the Ja'goroan due to their perceived lack of involvement in the war with Tiorath. In reality without their efforts Felsaed would most likely have lost the war, as they were vital in optimizing the logistics of the largest war in Tor'Saarn's history.
