EARLY LIFE
Kelen Syesul was born 31/4/72/2 (31/4/1095) in Nalom on the isle off Sol'Syesul, and is the son of the ambassador Velfor Syesul and the Herost Seltien ambassador to Hyeros, Colira. He was raised in Syesul and given a life fitting of a member of the Syesul family, and was a candidate for the isle's lordship until his self imposed exile in Hyeros. He spent most of his young adulthood in Sethir, traveling through the many flashpoints and battlefields in search of anyone who remembered the conflicts with between Sethir and the failing Tiorathan empire in the early second age. It is believed he first began working on his first book 'The rise and fall of Tiorath's empire Volume I' during this time. His first work focused on Tiorath's interactions with the west as it was in these lands the empire both rose and fell, and upon it's completion he travelled east to Felsaed with the hopes of gathering enough information to write a sequel, focused on Tiorath's war with Felsaed.MID LIFE
During Kelen's mid life he worked his way throughout the three states that made up the heart of the old Felsaed empire, beginning his journey in Tierdun. After a boatride from Oron'Hye (where he compiled his notes to create his initial work) Kelen arrived in Tierdun. Here he first travelled the port cities in the nations west to gather information on the violent navy battles fought over the coast. From there he travelled eastward into the nation, drifting to the north until he eventually reached the border wall that marked the southern end of the Great Felsaed Division (the place where all three nations of Felsaed share a border). Kelen crossed the border and travelled west through West Felsaed's forests, making his way to the western edge of the nation. As he reached the coast he travelled north, where he visited the numerous points of conflict between the empires of Felsaed and Tiorath. Eventually he went East, spending time in the libraries of East Felsaed where he poured over the tomes of Tiorath's former greatest enemy. In the East he compiled his second work. In exchange for access to East Felsaed's libraries he traded copies of both his works (once complete).
