Description

This crimson wax smells strongly of sulfur and rust. Created exclusively from fiend fat, bloodwax creates a steady flame... but blood must be paid to light the initial spark.

Usage

Candles made from this wax can imprint on a specific creature, if their blood is added to the unlit wick. Once lit, the bloodwax candle will emit a misty red trail, which will lead towards the imprinted creature, provided it is on the same plane.
Bloodwax burns quickly, and it requires blood to stoke its flames. Every few minutes, whoever holds the candle must sacrifice some of their own blood to keep the flame bright and the trail alive.
