Mordekai was a wererat prisoner of the the Zealot's cult. He was killed in a disagreement over whether or not to attack the cult's children.

Description

Mordekai was a gaunt man with the brand of a thief burnt into his flesh.

History

When Kapital was captured by the Zealot's soldiers, they met and freed him when trying to escape from the cave. When they encountered prisoners from the Horned Society, the logical lizardfolk suggested taking the cult's children as hostages; while Mordekai agreed, the group found this reprehensible.
When a fight ensued, Mordekai transformed into a wererat. While Chorabrak grappled with him, Mizzryn's wooden stake mysteriously turned into a silver-tipped spike inscribed with Elvish glyphs; she used it to kill the struggling wererat.
