Raxi is a mage and leader of the xvarts living in the caves.

Description

He is semi-shrouded by swarming bats and speaks only in Abyssal, although he is somehow able to make others understand him.

Personality

He is primarily motivated by greed, but also by his cowardice.

History

In their first delve into the Caves of Chaos, Kapital stumbled into the xvarts' secret hideout. They did battle with their warriors and their chained-up osquips. Sensing serious danger, Raxi intervened and proposed a negotiation, which Kapital accepted.
Still cautious, Raxi allowed the party to rest with the xvarts but required them to blindfold themselves when being escorted away from the hideout.
Also, when he felt Chuma's association with the Hells, he was initially distrustful but relaxed when he learned Chuma was working with Mammon. Raxi showed the Brass Banker a hellish ruby and offered it for trade, if the party retrieved the mace of terror from another part of the caves.
