Lvl 1 - The communicator allows for telepathic communication between the user and up to 5 separate teammates. The level 3 version also allows for the following features:
Verbal push notifications from teammates to the communicator with up to 10 words.

Broadcast capabilities so the wielder can speak to all teammates at once up to 30 words.

A channel devoted to contacting Trusilla Fane of head office.
Lvl 2 -
Lvl 3 - with this level up the earpiece has full telepathic communication with anyone on your Adventure Team. The Communicator can also broadcast to the whole team in 20 words or less. The rest of the adventure team now has telepathic communication with the communicator at 20 words or less.

The team can now bypass the communicator and send short bursts to one other teammate at 10 words or less.
