President
A president, within government, is a political leader who holds the chief exectutive power of a nation; and is the head of state. The term is generally thought to mean that the individual was elected by the people, though this may be more or less true from place to place.
One of the best known examples of the rank of president is the country of Lennar. However, Lennar's presidents are elected only by qualified individuals, and both a president and presidentress is appointed as a pair. The President holds primary power, but his wife the Presidentress is still considered extremely important and holds much power.
