Don't lose your head

Oh, that's Monty. I try not to wake him unless its completely necessary. He agreed to answer some of my questions in exchange for local gossip, a weekly book club, and a blood oath to be satisfied by my 50th birthday.

Appearance

Resting under a sheer iridescent cloth, a skull sits peacefully on the lower shelf. The skull itself is covered in letters, symbols, patterns. When the cloth is removed, the carvings faintly glow and pulse in intensity.

History

Monty lived a long life and passed away a few decades ago. He met Bellie Spindle and Jhen Whispershadow on his death bed, entreating the women care for his grandson. At least, that's what it looked like to Jhen.

  From Bellie's perspective, her wife was talking to an inanimate skeleton. It was not a familiar sight at the time.

   By the end of their journey, they had a mission. Find the grandson and help him find his purpose in life.

  The grandson has still not been located although Bellie has been noticing some interesting characters entering and leaving the port-city, La Chiave a Croce.
