Luck

When something doesn't look like it will go your way, you can utilize this book to improve your chances of success. It does not, however, guarantee success. A risk of bad luck may occur, as well.

Mechanics

When a player signs their name in the Tome of Desires, they have a chance to improve their luck. When used at a table, they can reroll their dice and take the higher number.

As a consequence, the game master has the opportunity to choose between two fates:

1. The player has to reroll and take the worse roll at a later date, determined by the game master.
2. The game master gets to reroll a die and take the higher number at a later date, determined by the game master.

The Tome of Desires can be used once per character.
