Lord Protectorate Gnolundi Gormniade Barazbarak
The current Field Marshal of the Suranthi First Ward Forces, or the SFWF, and the founder of the Iron Dragons. This branch of military operations is separated from the regular military, navy or air force in that they also act as the military police, that is the Iron Dragons do, the new age elite unit of fighters whom, during peace time, handle investigation and enforcement of military law. They also have this function in war time, though many rules are less stringent in war time (whilst a few also become more stringent with more dire punishments, as one might expect). This position also puts him in charge of the various patrol forces within the country, the Road, Rail, and Air Wardens, along with the Coast Guard. Gnolundi himself is a dwarf of nearly four centuries, a hardened veteran of many conflicts. He is a grizzled and scarred dwarf, his hair kept buzzed short, silvery grey in color. His beard is kept long, almost to his navel, and loosely tied almost as one would tie a ponytail. He shows his age here, for the deep loamy brown of his youth is all but gone, replaced with a silvery-wispy greying. He is missing his left eye and a large part of his nose, courtesy of a orc axe blade from a conflict of his youth. He is a military dwarf through and through, and always looks the part, adhering strictly to parade standards and military dress code even, supposedly, in his home life. To this day he wakes at least two hours before dawn daily, going for a long run and to maintain his gear, kit and weapons, even when at home in his clan's hold, and not on campaign. He is burly, of a strong build, with a barrel chest. His fingers bear the tell-tale grey staining from many decades of smokepowder weapon use.
