Orea Baruntacht
In the heartlands of the Broken Fang Province, clan Orea holds sway over the lands of the Orea Baruntacht. This region is called a heartland in the tundra fashion, and is one, in that one will find many mosses, different hardy brushes, and even various berry bushes growing wild. Wild game is plentiful, and the land, though a tundra, is a marshy, wet land with no true lakes so much as melt deposits that form every short spring in different places. These pools of fresh water that though muddy, not permanent and out in the open, draw wildlife to the region in droves. The marshy land combined with the tundra climate presents many unique challenges and difficulties when it comes to construction of any sort, from structural, to transit and anything in between. It should come as little surprise then, that amongst their accolades, the Orea Clan holds a reputation as fantastic engineers, for they would have to be to live and settle in a place such as this.

TOWNS/CITIES:
Coreath (7016): The principal settlement, that is the largest and busiest town within the Baruntacht, this is also the seat of Clan Orea, and the regional governing body. However this is not what the town is known for. Coreath is well known to the Suranthi Armed Forces as their preferred recruiting ground for their architects and structural engineers for those sections of the Engineering Corps, as the Coreath Masters Engineering Institute is, almost without exception, the highest spoken of educational institution in all of Suranth, and that is even accounting for the prestige of schools in the likes of Geata-Iarainn and An Pointe Thoir. CMEI is known nation wide, and the graduates of the institution's intense programs are seen, rightfully so, as a cut above the rest when it comes to those of such prowess. They are seen as better educated, better trained, and more prepared for the real world difficulties of their craft. This reputation is well earned.
Howling Station (4361): This town is named for its location, and the winds that oft accompany that. It stands in line with a major air current, and as such, high winds are a normal part of life. The howling of the crisp tundra winds can make the region feel as though the air is biting at you. As to station, well that is because it is home to the region's major railyard, a busy place with plenty of foot traffic, along with traffic of goods coming in and leaving.
Port Foring (5127): A port named for the man who built it, one Graham Foring, this town is a well known fishery hub and one of the new age canning plants. A marvel of ingenuity, it is the home of the invention and innovation of figuring out a viable process for pickling and canning fish, credited to Graham Foring's son, one Alexander Foring. As such, the largest, busiest and oldest such facility, Foring Fishing Cannery, is here, a facility that employs well over five hundred people full time. The town's fishing fleet and demands for dockhands employs almost another fifteen hundred of her citizenry, the rest working all other manner of jobs one would expect to find and need filling in a town of some size. The canning process which has made the town famous is but three decades old, and in that time, has spread rapidly in fame, as it allows cheaper movement of a useful provision. Armies all across the northlands have embraced this new tool, as one might expect, and even civilians now embrace it, as its entry into the consumer market, allowed fish to be acquired by those whom previously could not afford it, admittedly, of a less...enjoyable flavor profile. But nutritionally, it has proven a boon to the poor and working class.
