Sacred Portal

The sacred portal is seemingly a tear in the fabric of space itself. Its protector, Charon, has built a gate around it to prevent people from "accidentally" wandering too close. It is 15 feet tall and has a purplish glow, though looking straight into it reveals nothingness. It is invisible from the backside or from certain angles. It has existed as long as any inhabitants of the land can remember.
