Tarrot

Tarrot is a fantasy world and setting for a number of stories. Tarrot is full of magic, supernatural creatures, fantasy kingdoms, and strange locations.   The land is split into four different kingdoms that take their names from the four different card suites (Hearts, Spades, Diamonds, and Clubs). Similarly, important governmental officials take their job titles from the face cards found in playing cards. These officials are the King (Head of State), Queen (Magical Leader), Jack (Top Diplomat), and Ace (Chief Strategist). Similarly, the two Jokers found in a card pack also exist, and they work to keep balance between the four different suites.   The stories set in Tarrot follow both the current rulers of the kingdoms and the two Jokers who help keep the peace between the four kingdoms. These stories range from quests, to mysteries, to slice-of-life. Usually, the POV characters are either the Jokers, or the Royal courts of Spades and Hearts. The royal courts of Diamonds and Clubs appear more as supporting characters.   While all these stories are set within the same Universe, sometimes they are not set within the same timeline. While most stories do exist within the same timeline; occasionally a story will be considered non-canon to the other stories and to the timeline
