The Enderi
This Elvish holiday, most commonly observed in the Dominion, is held to remember the elves stolen immortality and missing patron god Corellon.
History
The observance of the holiday is always on the last day of the recognized year, signifying the end of that record (year). There are no living elves that can remember how the mourning of the event began, but it has been practiced for generations.
Execution
Elves gather in the early morning and face the dawn. The whole city will sing as the dawn rises, and once the song is over, they pay their respects to places of their ancestor's burial, or where they died. Each elvish family has their own unique way to honor their ancestors, but most offer works of art, poems, songs, and music.
In the evening, the all-day fast is broken by food and drink, which continues well into the morning. This part of the holiday is more reminiscent of the more traditional 'holidays' of Tarrus.
Participants
Most Elves of the Dominion, as well as those found outside its borders throughout Tarrus.
Observance
On the Enderi. Last day of the record (year).
