Session five recap

The group stops at the Stone Vanguard, reporting the presence of undead remaining in the cavern they explored. After some travel, they arrive back at Abbaroth, reporting in to Vance. Vance, however, is not at his condo, and instead Lady Katherine takes their report, the artifact, and exactly zero shit. She pays out the group and Fordrik.

Mithleena decides to switch employers, and works for the group now.

The group is approached by a Knight of Taleria, Knight-Commander Melinda Hearthgrove, in charge of the second patrol group for Abbaroth. The group is taken back to her office for questioning, but are not charged with anything. They are told that Vance was out of line, and not to work with him again. During the meeting, a delegate from Dormune, Felrin Wumash, appears and is livid with the group, but is headed off by Hearthgrove.

After some research, the group determines that what they found was an artifact called the Sanguine Watcher, and it was responsible for spreading the undeath in that area.
