The IDF

The Ipath Defense Force is a supplementary, volunteer-only military branch. The Narton regular military was so stretched thin and strained that it was forced to search for outside help, and created the IDF as a secondary force. Most who apply are welcome, and need not be members of the nation of Narton. Still adhering to a strict military structure, those that join are expected to follow regulation or be removed, though the process of organizing and promoting officers is more on merit than experience. Only in it's fourth year of operation, it is still a small branch of Narton's forces, and has proven to be somewhat inconsistent so far.
