Whenever a force is needed on the front line for an extended period of time, eventually other infrastructure builds up around them, for support. A blacksmith sets up shop to make and repair weapons, traders set up supply line to bring food and sundries, and if this goes on long enough a full blown settlement is founded out of the humble beginnings of a fortified outpost. Serving as both the command hub for the front line defense, and the headquarters of the newly formed IDF, or Ipath Defense Force, this town and barracks is now one of the most thriving communities of Narton, given it's proximity to Narton's number one priority for several centuries.
