Firbolg

24. Never leave a fire unattended in Firbolg lands. If the Firbolg don't kill you, they'll give you a lengthy lecture.
The Unwritten Merchant Tradition
There's quite a few things that can surprise you deep in the forest, but few of them are as pleasant as the Firbolg, provided you remain respectful. Humble and normally peaceful dwellers of nature, the lumbering Firbolg patrol their lands guarding it from foreign invaders be they humanoid or arcane in nature. Leave them be and never provoke them or else you risk rising their ire, a costly mistake you might not get a chance to make again.

Gifts of Nature

The Firbolg live with nature, not over it. They seek to ensure the forests and plains they occupy flourish according to laws of nature itself, leaving as little of an impact as possible. Where even the Elves bend it to their will, the Firbolg leave nothing in their wake, not even footprints. It's no wonder Firbolg are often considered myths as even Claws of Xiroth have difficulty bending them to their will. In many cases, the only evidence of their existence are warnings left in adventurer camps and lumbering forms deep in the forest.

Outcasts of Civilization

While extremely rare, an isolated Firbolg might be the last remaining member of their tribe or an exile who has committed a terrible crime against nature. Firbolg never leave their homes voluntarily except in extreme situations, and always bring company if they can. To find yourself in the company of a Firbolg means to tread lightly. A passive and kindly Firbolg may reveal their vicious and brutal nature should you ever attempt to slight them, their people, or their lands.
