Dwarves are spread into multiple different clans that boast with their clans accomplishments and undermine the accomplishments of other dwarven clans, any dwarven clan is a rare sight above ground. Other arguing over a common joke of "which one lives deeper" the most common clans are divided into mountain dwarves and hill dwarves. In addition to them, there is the rejected clan of deep dwarves known as duergar, who dwell in the deepest depths of the world.Basic Information
Anatomy
Generally as a people, dwarves are short and stout. With a barrel-like rotund body, plenty of hair and facial hair and a strong knack to mining, dwarves are often well built and slightly muscular to say the least. However, this is where similarities between different clans end as each has different discerning features.

Dwarves are capable of seeing relatively well in the dark, which helps them in their large-scale mining operations and day-to-day lives below the surface.

Naming Traditions
Dwarves often take great pride in their houses and families, with some dwarven clan priding their parents. Due to this many dwarves are named "-son" or "-daughter" to pay respects and homage to their ancestors and family.
