Houndsmare Knights
Houndsmare Knights are the devoted elite warriors of Meritcliff, a village hidden far on the northern brinks of Parched Highlands, only accessable through a series of difficult trials or through the strange Painted Glass Desert of the Feywild. Houndsmare Knights forged an ancient pact with their mystical patron-god to protect the deity's granted gift with their lives.
Serving for atleast several centuries, the current Houndsmare Knights composed of Engherradh, the Teacher, and several Pups. Namely Salaman the Caring, Ellenor the Fierce, Tobias the Tactile and Porthia the Pondering. Their Oath fulfilled after the Ferocious Chimera passed all of the trials set on by the Knights, the Knights currently have no other meaning than to wait for the return of their creator deity and to protect the residents of Meritcliff.

"On a bended knee, I swear fealty to my King and my Realm, to serve both with honour and wellness.
Even if the Service would cost me my life, I'll serve with loyalty and bring glory until my Vow is fulfilled, 'least Death take me beforehand.
Let my Family, my own Children and my Kin disown me if I stray from the path of justice, and let me be stripped of all honour I have gained while in service to the Oath-holder.
I swear my Sword as a guardian to the Gift of the Oath-holder, until a worthy wielder is discovered. Someone who carries steel with the heart of a lion, claws of the wolf and the pride of an elk.
Should the Gift ever be stolen against my Vow, I swear to return it by steel, by sharpened teeth and claw, from fire, ice, misery and death."
