Knavefolk
The true Freefolk
"Ever wonder what Redbelly Port is like? Like, how do the thieves and bandits live there?"People who long-since abandoned Phorex Isles and Feline's Claw bound on their crafts and directed them to the Ribbon Archipelago, where sandy beaches and bananas were a-plenty. In the year 638 EC, when Alain Gislain Dragani managed to change Kir Vallen's policies to unite the olligarchs to an Empire, while the new Emperors initial changes were appreciated by the people of Ribbon Archipelago, they were not willing to join this new "Empire". At first, this divide was approved and trading for the Ribbon Archipelago's bananas and coconuts began, but soon began the true rise of the Dragani Empire. And a rise, that would ultimately sever their relations with the Ribbon Archipelago and give its inhabitants the vile "Knavefolk" name.
"Murder and mayhem, private. That's all the knavefolk know how to do." ~ Conversation with the Raptor Guard
As there were some settlements in the Feline's Claw that did not approve of Alain Gislain being appointed an Emperor (Empyrean Trade as an example), but the local settlements didn't have such treasures in the form of treasures when compared to the Ribbon Archipelago. This lead to a quick "recapturing" operation by the Empire, where those resisting were punished or captured into encampments and eventually made slaves for the new Empire.
Some refugees from these operations and assaults made it to the Ribbon Archipelago and once it's folk heard of what had happened, they did not only cut ties to the Empire but additionally attempted several rescue missions and to sabotage the Empire's naval campaigns. The people of Ribbon Archipelago were, after all, experts in ship-building and seaward navigation. Once this open hostility became clear, the many captains of the Dragani Empire were still confused if these were singular bandits and pirates coming after them, but below these simple assaults and skirmishes boiled the bubbles of open rebellion and warfare.

When I write articles, I tend to write about the history of why and how the article came to be in my mind. I felt at home reading this article. Reading the history made it easier for me to understand what the flow would be.
Also can you help me with the CSS / code for that text box that zooms in and out. I have a player in my world and myself that would love to use that.
I strongly recommend joining the Discord of World Anvil for that! They have a channel for CSS help and I am in no means a CSS wizard myself! My Girlfriend does most of the coding for my articles and pages after we mutually agree on what should be changed.
