A figure deep in controversy. Morainess is a mute hero, who earned her reputation and status through her deep insight and wisdom into the natural world. Morainess is most praised by those who wish for their survival through difficult times such as famine, sickness or war. Living long ago, during the rule of Zabra Niel on the northern mountains of Ashta'Ai, Morainess was never seen as much else than a good friend of Hamal Abrietas. However, when interested scholars years later discovered the hamlet of the warrior-maiden, a whole new sort of wisdom was found. A wisdom through which the faith of Morainess began.

Divine Domains

Morainess' blessing is most sought out to cure diseases and plagues and to bless new farmlands the bear plenty of fruit. However, her personality as well ties together the fates of farmers with those of warriors and as such, those who believe in Morainess are hardy folk. Ready to rather die in defense of their homes than to suffer in the hands of wrong-doing.

Artifacts

The Blade of Reaping was a bone-white blade carried by Morainess in most sagas against the warlord Zabra Niel. It is told by scholars and sages of the time that Morainess never cleansed her blade of the blood she had spilled with it. To replicate this, prisoners partaking the Decree of Plantation are given a blade crafted out of bone. The whereabouts of the original blade are unknown, and many believe it to be in safe keeping of the High Priests.
Dagger of Planting was another bone-white blade, although much shorter than the Blade Morainess used to carry. Morainess was said to use the dagger out mercy for the departed, but to use the same dagger in her vast gardens to till the ground.
