The Order of Delivered Steel is a name decorated in legends and epic tales. Most common perception of knights and divine protectors of man comes from this order. As their role has diminished with a world more and more explored, some of the Order have turned to hired blades. Structure

The Order of Delivered Steel consists of vengeful and duty-clad knights, swore to protect the righteous world of evils of monsters and non-human aberrations. Experiencing a vast growth soon after it was created, the Order's numbers have ever dwindled with many of its members becoming blades for hire and common mercenaries. Still banded by their vow and oath, members of the Order are drawn to evil and to vanquish it by any means necessary. The inner rankings of the Order resemble that of a simplified military with healers, "deliverers" acting as soldiers and knight commanders having the ultimate charge of the Order.

Culture

Unlike their brethren in the Order of Silence, Order of Delivered Steel is much respected and loved by the public. Their work is most emphasised during the catastrophic Hag Marches and whenever a knight of the Order walks Praesidium, they are sure to discover contracts and pleas for aid. A member of the Order believes in humility and in something that surpasses their personal goals. According to the long-told Legend of the Three Heralds it was a celestial being who granted the Order with skills, knowledge and even weaponry to fight against evil. For this, the Order consider's its patron saint being Inja, the Miraclesmith. Many members of the Order of Delivered Steel have suffered in the hands of otherwordly evil or wish to protect their home communities from such beasts.

Assets

As monster slayers, Order of Delivered Steel is best by none. Their experience in dealing with hags, ancient and dangerous woodland beings and those that dwell in shadow is a stuff of legends and their citadel holds many secrets on behavior and spread of monsters.
