The Creation of Tavomia

Tavomia was born from the will of Seraphine, shaped by her divine touch and imagination. The world is a reflection of balance—light and shadow, life and death. Ang shaped the land and its natural order, while Rashida gave it the cycle of life and death. The gods nurtured mortals, guiding them to build civilizations and rise beyond mere survival. Tavomia, beautiful and full of potential, became the heart of a cosmic balance between creation and destruction.

The Rise of Shadow

Darkness crept into Tavomia, and with it, the rise of two gods. Morgesh, the embodiment of madness, spread fear and despair across the land. His whispers twisted the minds of mortals, while Dashiva, goddess of corruption, seduced them with forbidden pleasures. Their emergence signaled the slow decay of civilizations and the beginning of chaos that would eventually lead to the Divine War.

The Divine War

The Divine War was a cataclysmic conflict that shattered the world’s balance. Gods fought against gods, and mortals were caught in the crossfire. The war led to the imprisonment of many deities, while others fell from grace or retreated from the world. This war left Tavomia scarred, both physically and spiritually, forever changing the course of history.

Seraphine's Sacrifice

At the height of the Divine War, Seraphine, mother of all gods, sacrificed herself to save Tavomia from destruction. By sealing away the most dangerous gods and creating the Rebirth, she restored balance, but at a terrible cost. Her presence faded from the world, and her once-vibrant influence now exists only in whispers, ancient relics, and the hearts of those who still revere her.

Saitas, The Lost God

Once a tyrant among the gods, Saitas sought order and control, but even he could not abide by the growing destruction brought by Morgesh and Dashiva. In a final act of defiance, Saitas abandoned the dark gods and vanished from the battlefield. Now known as the Lost God, his fate is unknown, though his name is still whispered by those who seek strict order and unwavering discipline.

Divine Taint

Those who channel the gods’ power are touched by their presence, marked by divine taint. The more power one wields, the more pronounced these effects become. Each god leaves a unique mark—whether it be visions, glowing symbols, or deeper transformations. Those affected often walk a fine line between their own will and the divine influence they channel.

Seraphine’s Childhood

Seraphine, born from Dianus and Lir, embodied the untamed magic of the Fey Wilds from her earliest days. As she roamed the wilds, her mere presence brought forests to life and birthed fantastical creatures. Her childhood, marked by innocence and boundless creativity, shaped the Fey Wilds into the vibrant, mystical realm it is today.

Birth of the Fey

Mortals believe that Seraphine was born from the union of Dianus, the Summer Queen, and Lir, the Winter King. Though they themselves are ancient and powerful, it was Seraphine’s boundless imagination during her childhood that brought forth the other Elder Fey. Mother Adranath, however, has always existed—woven into the fabric of the Fey Wilds as a keeper of wisdom and stories. The other Fey, such as Sliske and Cian, were born of Seraphine’s childhood whims, created to keep her company in the wild magic of the Fey Wilds.

Rural Folklore

In the more isolated and rural parts of Tavomia, the Elder Fey are not just legends, but forces to be respected and revered. Villagers leave offerings to avoid their wrath, while Druids and wise folk invoke their aid through rituals, believing that the Elder Fey’s magic flows through the land.

Warlock Pacts

Warlocks who seek power from the Elder Fey enter into ancient pacts, gaining magic from the wild magic of the Fey Wilds. Each Fey grants unique abilities, from illusions to dream manipulation, though warlocks must navigate their whims carefully.

Druids of the Wilds

Druids have a deep connection to the Elder Fey, drawing their power directly from the Fey Wilds. Through sacred rituals, Druids honor the Elder Fey as protectors of nature, seeking their wisdom and blessings to maintain balance within the natural world.
