Percival Dean

Sir Percival Simon Fredrick Dean, GCB, GCVO, CMG, MC is a British courtier and civil servant who held several positions in the institution of the Royal Family, unofficially called 'The Firm'. This culminated in his position as Private Secretary to both William IV and George VII. When Sebastian I acceded the throne, Dean was transferred to other administrative tasks as the new king was adament that his Private Secretary while he was Prince of Wales remain. He became Comptroller of the Lord Chamberlain's Office, making him also the Lord Chamberlain, responsible for matters such as protocol, state visits, investitures, garden parties, royal weddings and funerals.   Following the assassination of Callum Griffiths, the King's Private Secretary, Dean served as a temporary Private Secretary to the Sovereign. His service to the Crown was terminated by the King following a leak of personal information that was traced back to Dean. His peerage, orders, and titles were stripped from him.
