The Fallback

The Fallback is the time, the rifts from the Abyss to the Mortal World opened first all over Te'nuron.

It is said that Cyric opened the Rift from his place in the Abyss, trying to push through the barrier, but the cage he was banned in, was too strong. He was not able to free himself like this and in rage he opened up more Rifts, wherever he could.   Darkspawn - Demons, devils, undead - were spilling out of the rifts into the Mortal Plane, attacking and overrunning all six countries of Te'nuron. The first night of the Fallback is said to have half of the world's population as casualty, because noone was prepared.   It was called Fallback, because it felt like the Revolution of Faith all over ago. Never since then has there been an event hitting everyone on a global level like this until the Fallback.
