The Shieldmaiden
Tall and endearing, the strong figure of magical prowess has long since protected the lands of Aldaria from outside threats. Her significance on the world stage, and even for her people as a whole however, came at the hands of a defensive position within the Draconic Wars. She proved to many that the best offence is a strong defense, and ending wars before blood is spilled on both sides prevents more hatred.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
While a long and imposing figure from a distance, Caste'lia does not offer a physically imposing frame. Fit and firm in her stature with light musculature, she holds enough strength to be agile and quick while maintaining her magical composure.
Facial Features
Two objects of note with her twin facial scars. One of a normal variety from a battle long past horizontally across the bridge of the nose. The second of the magical variety vertically across the eye. The second glows in dark expanses, showing the latent magical energy still within the wound.
Special abilities
The original teacher of the Life Shield to Kan'th. Surging one's own energy and life force into such a potent defensive measure of force. Also the designer of many city-wide shield systems that exist in combative areas of the globe.

Personal history
Of the original Ca'tani, Caste'lia has made the most political waves for her people as a driving force in the world. Her early strife in her years, like most of the first generation when they found themselves in a world they were not born into, but spawned and created into, were anything but ideal in the early days. Long strife and conflict followed her from wars and conflicts, losses, and changes of magic, and including the degeneration of friends. While her personal story is one she might better weave herself over a long cup of tea, her public story of her political work to bring awareness to the world that most of her people are on the side against the very Dark Spirits that created is one of noteworthy praise. She is among the first, and so far the only, Ca'tani to be recognized worthy of teaching and holding a leadership position within the circle of Runevale and Aldaria as a political entity as a whole.
Education
Most formal education came later in her years when the early strife and conflict had settled. Instincts gave way to practiced and refined combative efforts that transitioned to a focus upon the the defensive mannerisms.
Employment
Currently working for, or with, the Runevale Federation to teach the art of abjuration and power, or the focus of defensive magic and the unstable arcane elements, to those wishing to learn or study magic within the continent as a whole.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Progressing the Ca'tani people as a whole to be seen the world over not as a 'monstrous' race as many Kla'tani originally wrote them off as, but as a force of reckoning against those who created them.
Mental Trauma
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from the early experiences of the combative elements of her, and most first-generation Ca'tani's, existence. Her facial scar is spawned from this element too from unstable magic.
