Deep Hunter

While many of the creatures within the sea monsters live a life that brings them to the surface every so often, this creature does not. Only knowing the dark depths of the ocean, the seafloor, and otherwise the endless expanse of silt and darkness, this creature has domain over the bottom of the ocean. While its terrain when it does seek to hunt does go into open water, it prefers the sea floor...and holds powerful surprises for those drawn to its web.

Similar to many crustaceans known in the world in terms of body parts and build, though taken to extremes and with extra glowing appendages

Fairly long lives similar to that of the whale creatures about its size, though they reach adulthood less often
