Twin Serpents The Celestials
As distant as the moons in the sky above, and just as quiet, the celestials are told as fish or serpents that glide across the endless black ocean above. Revered by many for their bringing of light within the darkness during the long nights of Te'za. A brilliant gem of pure white resides as one while in the opposite a deep blood crimson with speckled black spots lie as the other. Both are often told as maidens matching their descriptions.

Personal history
The history of the Celestials lies as old as the planet itself. While their personal history has of course been transcribed via their followers, as is their bidding, they only tell them the one instance of their personal lives that truly bears any meaning.
In the preceding time of a great calamity, an ancient stone was flying through the deep beyond towards the fledgling planet, threatening the entire existence of all of the beings the spirit's had worked so hard to create. In this moment, the twin moons made a pact with one another to preserve the other, and one intercepted the great threat, utterly shattering her beautiful body. Left as an ashen black and red object in the wake, the now inextricably bound moons above circle as not only the eternal guardians, but beacons of knowledge in their conversely opposed coloration.
