Tian'tha

The impressive natural mountain of Tian'tha sprawls high over the world as the roof and the tallest structure without any question. Stretching high into the sky through magically crafted means, it reaches all the way to the edge of the atmosphere. The sheer scale astounds most who even think about it when they read it in tales. Experiencing the mountain is hazardous, but worth the trip. The vast majority make it only up a quarter of the way, with the highest reaching half way up the side. Each year more try to reach its peak with magical and non-magical means.
The great ancient dragon Na'groth lies responsible for the creation of the object. Once sought to be used a den for evil, the dragons plans were foiled upon his demise. It has grown ever since, as the magic to craft or reduce such objects has been lost to the millenia.

Purpose / Function

Originally crafted as a place to spawn forth darkness, it now only resides as a monument to the testament of magic.

History

Tian'tha has erupted multiple times in the past. The first was the start of the War of the Spirits. The second came at the end of start of the 2nd Era, and last at the dawn of the 3rd.
