Tales of the witch

Laura Tey Solomon was a person who seems very strange and mysterious to those who don't know her and over the years stories have been spread and twisted about her. Most kids get told about the witch when they are young as a threat for doing things the parents don't like she is ascribed as being all knowing and fickle those that displease her always suffer. Those who are good however might find her in their darkest moments and get what they need maybe not what they want but what they need. Most Krystians have learned to have almost primal feelings about the witch though they often don't associate Laura with the stories she inspired.

Historical Basis

The all knowing nature ascribed to her is based on her knowing things about the future through her powers which she often casually mentions. The complete differences others either being pure evil or helpful comes from her habit of not helping those who she views as not deserving of her help even if they are trying to accomplish something as important as saving the world.

Spread

Is found more in rural areas with more concentrated cities only being vaguely aware of the legends. The witch is a character who appears in many other stories and legends as either a aid to the hero or more of a mentor again depending on the teller or story.

Variations & Mutation

Depending on the teller the focus of the legends of the witch can focus more on the vengeful aspects of her or the more helpful. In some stories the witch has control over a beast made out pure fear if it is a partnership or if she is dominating and binding it changes depending on the telling.

Most of the legends about the witch is oral in nature and not a lot is actually written down.

There are a lot of creepy art in relation to the witch. She also often appears in backgrounds of pictures regarding heroic groups.
