Causes

Anyone who lights a fire in Forst suffers the effects of Forst's fires in addition those that look at the flames have a chance of also being affected though usually the effects are a little less strong.

Symptoms

Those that are exposed to the fire get a feeling of weakness their strength seeming to sap into the fire itself fire in forst requires much less physical resources then should be possible the actually flames are seen as hypnotically beautiful and those that see them are often subjected to flashbacks of some kind.

Treatment

The flames die down relatively quickly when separated from people.

Cultural Reception

The actual monsters of Ascalla find the fire to have a certain scent to it that attracts them they are able to eat the fire and in doing so they invigorate themselves.
